Low pressure laminates are usually found at all do it yourself stores at very low prices. These products are acceptable for low traffic areas that are not exposed to frequent moisture. High pressure laminates are extremely durable and highly resistant to scratching and water damage. High pressure laminates are perfect for active families with small children and pets. They are a great alternative to real wood floors which are prone to denting and scratching. Laminates are easy to care for and can be installed over most existing floors in any room. The majority offerings are in wood patterns with a modest selection in the tile and stone look.
